রাজশাহীর তানোর উপজেলায় একটি প্রশিক্ষণ বিমান আছড়ে পড়েছে। মঙ্গলবার দুপুর ২টার দিকে তানোরের লালপুর ও আড়াদীঘি গ্রামের মাঝামাঝি স্থানে আলুক্ষেতে বিমানটি আছড়ে পড়ে। তবে এ ঘটনায় কেউ হতাহত হননি।
বিমানে একজন পাইলট এবং একজন প্রশিক্ষণার্থী ছিলেন। তারা দুজনই সুস্থ আছেন। চেসনা-১৫২ মডেলের এই বিমানটি বাংলাদেশ ফ্লাইং ক্লাবের।
রাজশাহীর হযরত শাহ মখদুম (রহ.) বিমানবন্দর ব্যবহার করে বাংলাদেশ ফ্লাইং ক্লাব প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রম চালায়। মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে এই বিমানবন্দর থেকেই বিমানটি ওড়ে। তানোরে গিয়ে সেটি আলুক্ষেতে আছড়ে পড়ে। বিমানটি সেখানে উপুড় হয়ে পড়ে আছে।
বাংলাদেশ ফ্লাইং ক্লাবের রাজশাহীর প্রশিক্ষক ক্যাপ্টেন মাহফুজুর রহমান বিমানে ছিলেন। তার সঙ্গে ছিলেন ক্যাডেট নাহিদ এরশাদ। ক্যাপ্টেন মাহফুজুর রহমান মুঠোফোনে বলেন, ‘আমরা সুস্থ আছি। আমরা ঘটনাস্থলেই আছি। কীভাবে, কেন দুর্ঘটনা ঘটেছে সেসব বিষয়ে পরে কথা বলা যাবে।’
এর আগে গত ৯ জানুয়ারি রাজশাহী বিমানবন্দরেই ল্যান্ড করার সময় বাংলাদেশ ফ্লাইং ক্লাবের একটি প্রশিক্ষণ বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় পড়ে। বিমানটির চাকা ভেঙে পড়ে। তবে কেউ হতাহত হননি। ২০১৫ সালেও এই সংস্থার একটি বিমান রাজশাহীর বিমানবন্দরে আছড়ে পড়ে। এতে নারী প্রশিক্ষণার্থী নিহত হন।
