জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সব পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে। সোমবার (২২ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাতে জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের জনসংযোগ, তথ্য ও পরামর্শ দফতরের পরিচালক ফয়জুল করিম এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
তিনি জানান, পরবর্তী নির্দেশ না দেয়া পর্যন্ত সরকারি সিদ্ধান্তের আলোকে জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সকল ধরনের পরীক্ষা বন্ধ থাকবে।
দুপুরে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ডা. দীপু মনি জানান, ঈদুল ফিতরের পরে আগামী ২৪ মে পাবলিক, প্রাইভেটসহ সব বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর ক্লাস শুরু হবে। আর এর এক সপ্তাহ আগে ১৭ মে থেকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর আবাসিক হল খুলে দেয়া হবে। এর মধ্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর আবাসিক সব শিক্ষার্থীসহ শিক্ষক-কর্মচারীদের করোনা টিকার আওতায় আনা হবে।
মন্ত্রী আরও জানান, ২৪ মে পর্যন্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর অনলাইন ক্লাস চলবে। এ সময়ের মধ্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কোন পরীক্ষা হবে না। হলগুলো দীর্ঘ এক বছর ধরে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে না। তাই, ১৭ মের মধ্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর হলগুলো সংস্কার করার নির্দেশনা দেয়া হয়েছে।
শিক্ষামন্ত্রীর এ নির্দেশনার পর জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সব পরীক্ষা স্থগিত ঘোষণা করলো।
