করোনার টিকা দেয়া নিয়ে দেশে একটিও অঘটনের খবর পাওয়া যায়নি বলে দাবি করেছেন স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী ডা. জাহিদ মালেক।
বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে কুর্মিটোলা হাসপাতালে সুরক্ষা অ্যাপ উন্মুক্ত করার পর সাংবাদিকদের কাছে এমন দাবি করেন তিনি।
সুরক্ষা অ্যাপসের কথা তুলে ধরে মন্ত্রী বলেন, অ্যাপস উদ্বোধন করেছি এতে টিকার নিবন্ধন কার্যক্রম আরেক ধাপ এগিয়ে গেল। এখন যেকোনো ব্যক্তি সরাসরি নিবন্ধন করতে পারবে। এটি সহজ হয়ে গেল। নিবন্ধন গতি বেড়ে যাবে।
জাহিদ মালেক বলেন, সারাদেশে প্রতিদিন তিন লাখের মতো নিবন্ধন হচ্ছে। এক হাজার সেন্টারের তিন থেকে চার হাজার বুথে পনের লাখের বেশি টিকা নিয়েছে।
করোনা মোকাবেলা ও টিকাদান কার্যক্রম পরিচালনায় অনেক প্রতিকূলতা ছিল এমন মন্তব্য করে স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, অনেক কথা হয়েছে কিন্তু ধোপে টিকেনি। সবাই টিকা নিচ্ছে। সবাই এগিয়ে আসুক, আনন্দের সঙ্গে উৎসবমুখরভাবে টিকা নিচ্ছে। এখন অবধি অঘটনের কোনো ঘটনা হয়নি এটা সবচেয়ে ভাল। সবাই সহনশীল এটা প্রমাণিত হয়েছে।
প্রতিটি টিকা কেন্দ্রের কোটা অনুযায়ী টিকা পাঠানো হয়েছে জানিয়ে জাহিদ মালেক বলেন, ব্যালেন্স করা হচ্ছে। আশা করি টিকা নিয়ে সমস্যা হবে না।
স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থার সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ অব্যাহত আছে। আগামী এক-দুই মাসের মধ্যে বৃহৎ সংখ্যক টিকা আসবে বলে আশা করছি।
বয়স্কদের স্পট নিবন্ধনের চিন্তা এখনো নেই জানিয়ে তিনি বলেন, অসুস্থদের ব্যাপারে কিছু করা যায় কি না ভাবা হচ্ছে।
