যুক্তরাষ্ট্র ইরানে সীমিত স্থল হামলা চালাতে পারে—এমন খবর ছড়িয়ে পড়ার পর কড়া প্রতিক্রিয়া জানিয়েছে ইরান। দেশটির শীর্ষ এক কর্মকর্তা বলেছেন, মার্কিন সেনারা ইরানে এলে তাদের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে ইরানের যোদ্ধারা।
গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার ইরানের সুপ্রিম ন্যাশনাল কাউন্সিলের সেক্রেটারি আলি লারিজানি এ বিষয়ে মন্তব্য করেন।
তিনি বলেন, কিছু মার্কিন কর্মকর্তা ইরানে কয়েক হাজার সেনা নিয়ে স্থল হামলার পরিকল্পনার কথা বলেছেন। তবে ইমাম খোমেনি ও ইমাম খামেনির সাহসী অনুসারীরা তাদের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে।
লারিজানি আরও বলেন, যারা ইরানে স্থল হামলার কথা বলছে, সেই দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত মার্কিন কর্মকর্তাদের সম্মানহানি করা হবে এবং তাদের কয়েক হাজার সেনাকে হত্যা ও আটক করা হবে।
মাইক্রো ব্লগিং সাইট এক্সে দেওয়া এক বার্তায় তিনি আরও লেখেন, “ইরানের পবিত্র ভূমিতে নরকের চাকরদের কোনো জায়গা নেই।” সূত্র: আলজাজিরা
