কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংক জানিয়েছে, দেশের মোট বৈদেশিক মুদ্রার রিজার্ভ বেড়ে এখন ৩৫ হাজার ৩১ দশমিক ৪৫ মিলিয়ন বা ৩৫ দশমিক ৩১ বিলিয়ন ডলারে দাঁড়িয়েছে।
আজ বুধবার (২৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি) বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের নির্বাহী পরিচালক ও মুখপাত্র আরিফ হোসেন খান এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন।
কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের সবশেষ তথ্যানুযায়ী, ২৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত দেশের গ্রস রিজার্ভের পরিমাণ দাঁড়িয়েছে ৩৫ দশমিক ৩১ বিলিয়ন ডলার। আর আন্তর্জাতিক মুদ্রা তহবিলের (আইএমএফ) হিসাব পদ্ধতি বিপিএম-৬ অনুযায়ী রিজার্ভ দাঁড়িয়েছে ৩০ হাজার ২৮৯ দশমিক ৪২ মিলিয়ন বা ৩০ দশমিক ২৮ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে।
এর আগে, গত ২৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত দেশের গ্রস রিজার্ভের পরিমাণ ছিল ৩৪ দশমিক ৮৬ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার। আর বিপিএম-৬ পদ্ধতিত রিজার্ভ ছিল ৩০ দশমিক ১০ বিলিয়ন ডলার।
