প্রশাসনিক কার্যক্রমে আরও গতিশীলতা আনতে সাপ্তাহিক ছুটির দিন শনিবারও অফিস করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান।
বৃহস্পতিবার (১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি) নবনির্বাচিত প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সভাপতিত্বে আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় বৈঠক শেষে এই সিদ্ধান্তের কথা জানানো হয়। বিএনপি মিডিয়া সেল থেকেও বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে।
সংশ্লিষ্ট সূত্র জানিয়েছে, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয় ও যমুনার মেরামত কার্যক্রম এখনো শেষ হয়নি। এ কারণে প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান আগামী কয়েকদিন সচিবালয়ে অফিস করবেন।
এদিকে বৃহস্পতিবার দ্বিতীয় দিনের মতো সচিবালয়ে অফিস করেছেন নবনির্বাচিত প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমান। সেই সঙ্গে এদিন নির্বাচনি প্রতিশ্রুতির মধ্যে থাকা ফ্যামিলি কার্ড বিষয়ে আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয়ের একটি বৈঠকেও যোগ দেন তিনি।
এর অংশ হিসেবে ইতোমধ্যে ফ্যামিলি কার্ড প্রদান সংক্রান্ত মন্ত্রিসভা কমিটি গঠন করেছে সরকার। বৃহস্পতিবার মন্ত্রিপরিষদ বিভাগের কমিটি বিষয়ক অধিশাখা থেকে এ বিষয়ে প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করা হয়েছে।
১৫ সদস্যের ওই কমিটিতে সভাপতি করা হয়েছে অর্থমন্ত্রী আমীর খসরু মাহমুদ চৌধুরীকে। এছাড়াও কমিটির সদস্য হিসেবে রয়েছেন ১৪ জন।
