স্পোর্টস ডেস্ক : বাংলাদেশের বিরুদ্ধে তিন ওয়ানডে এবং দুই টেস্ট ম্যাচের সিরিজ খেলতে আজ রোববার ঢাকায় আসছে ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ ক্রিকেট দল। রোববার সকালেই আসার কথা ক্যারিবিয়দের।
সকালে এমিরেটস এয়ারলাইন্সের ফ্লাইটে লন্ডন থেকে দুবাই হয়ে ঢাকায় আসবে ক্যারিবিয়ান ক্রিকেট দল।
করোনা শঙ্কা ও ব্যক্তিগত কারণে নিয়মিত দলের অনেক ক্রিকেটারই নেই ওয়ানডে ও টেস্ট সিরিজে। ওয়ানডে দলের নেতৃত্ব দিবেন জেসন মোহাম্মদ।
রোববার ঢাকা পৌঁছে তিন দিন কোয়ারেন্টিনে থাকবে ক্যারিবিয়ানরা। এরপর চারদিন অনুশীলন শেষে ওয়ানডে সিরিজের আগে একমাত্র প্রস্তুতি ম্যাচ খেলবে আগামী ১৮ জানুয়ারি।
এই সিরিজের মাধ্যমে প্রায় ১০ মাস পর আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেটে ফিরছে বাংলাদেশ।
করোনাকালে গেল জুলাইয়ে ইংল্যান্ডে তিন ম্যাচের টেস্ট সিরিজ খেলেছে ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ। এরপর গেল নভেম্বর-ডিসেম্বরে তারা করেছে নিউজিল্যান্ড সফর।
