মুজিববর্ষ বিজয় দিবস উন্মুক্ত টেবিল টেনিস একক র্যাংকিং প্রতিযোগিতায় বাংলাদেশ পুলিশের মুহতাসিন আহমেদ হৃদয় ৪-১ সেটে বাংলাদেশ আনসারের মোহাম্মদ জাভেদ আহমেদকে পরাজিত করে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছেন।
শুক্রবার বিকালে রাজধানীর শহীদ তাজউদ্দীন আহমেদ উডেন ফ্লোর জিমনেসিয়ামে টুর্নামেন্টের সমাপনী দিনে এই প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
প্রতিযোগিতায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আসাদ এন্টারপ্রাইজের স্বত্বাধিকারী মোহাম্মদ মফিজ আল আসাদ, পুলিশের এডিশনাল ডিআইজি ড. শোয়েব রিয়াজ আলম, ১নং সহ-সভাপতি খোন্দকার হাসান মুনীর প্রমুখ।
এই টুর্নামেন্টের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রাপ্তি বাংলাদেশ পুলিশ প্রথমবারের মতো পুরুষ দল ও মহিলা দল গঠন করে। এর মধ্যে পুরুষ দল রানার্স আপ এবং মহিলা দল বাংলাদেশ আবাহনী লিমিটেডকে হারিয়ে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে।
