দেশের সব সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে এক শিফটে শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম চলবে। আগামী বছরের (২০২৩ সাল) জানুয়ারি থেকে সারাদেশে কার্যকর হবে এ নিয়ম।
রোববার (৩০ অক্টোবর) প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা সচিব মো. আমিনুল ইসলাম খান সচিবালয়ে এক ব্রিফিংয়ে এই তথ্য জানান।
তিনি বলেন, দেশের সব প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়কে এক শিফটে আনার পরিকল্পনা করছি। আগামী বছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এটা কার্যকর করতে পারবো।
সারাদেশে একই সময়ে স্কুল শুরু ও শেষ করার চেষ্টা করা হবে বলে জানান গণশিক্ষা সচিব।
তিনি বলেন, ক্লাসরুম, শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীর সংখ্যা বিবেচনায় নিয়ে সব সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে এক শিফট চালু করা হবে।
