চিনি আর পাম তেলের দাম পুনঃনির্ধারন করা হয়েছে। চিনির দাম প্রতি কেজিতে ৬ টাকা বাড়ানো হয়েছে। এর ফলে খোলা চিনি প্রতি কেজি ৯০ টাকা আর প্যাকেটজাত ৯৫ টাকায় বিক্রি হবে।
অন্যদিকে পাম তেলের দাম প্রতি লিটার ১৩৩ টাকা থেকে ৮ টাকা কমিয়ে ১২৫ টাকা নির্ধারন করা হয়েছে। পণ্য দুটির পুনঃনির্ধারণ করা দাম শুক্রবার থেকে কার্যকর হবে।
সচিবালয়ে বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ে এক সভা শেষে বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুরে বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র সচিব তপন কান্তি ঘোষ সাংবাদিকদের একথা জানিয়ে বলেছেন, চিনি ও পামঅয়েলের পুনঃনির্ধারণ করা দামের বিষয়ে বিকালের মধ্যে সংশ্লিষ্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করবে।
উল্লেখ্য, এর আগে ২২ সেপ্টেম্বর পাম তেল ও চিনির দাম নির্ধারন করেছিল সরকার।
