এসএসসি ও সমমান পরীক্ষা আগামী ১৫ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে শুরু হবে। আর নভেম্বরের শুরুতে আয়োজন এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা।
রবিবার দুপুরে সচিবালয়ে নিজ মন্ত্রণালয়ে আয়োজিত সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এই দুটি পরীক্ষার তারিখ জানান শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ডা. দীপু মনি।
গত ১৯ জুন এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা শুরু হওয়ার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু দেশের সার্বিক বন্যা পরিস্থিতির অবনতি হওয়ায় এর দুদিন আগে (১৭ জুন) পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়।
তখন জানানো হয়, সব শিক্ষা বোর্ডের এসএসসি জেনারেল, এসএসসি ভোকেশনাল এবং দাখিল পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হলো। পরীক্ষার পরিবর্তিত সময়সূচি পরে জানানো হবে।
এ বছর ২০ লাখ ২১ হাজার ৮৬৮ শিক্ষার্থীর এসএসসি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেয়ার কথা। এর মধ্যে ৯টি সাধারণ বোর্ডে ১৫ লাখ ৯৯ হাজার ৭১১ জন, দাখিলে ২ লাখ ৬৮ হাজার ৪৯৫ জন এবং কারিগরিতে ১ লাখ ৬৩ হাজার ৬৬২ জন। গত বছর এসএসসি পরীক্ষা নেয়া হলেও এইচএসসিতে শিক্ষার্থীদের অটোপাস দেয় সরকার।
