অবশেষে বাংলাদেশি শ্রমিক নিয়োগ দিতে যাচ্ছে মালয়েশিয়া। দেশটি দুই হাজারের বেশি বাংলাদেশি শ্রমিক নিতে নিজেদের প্রস্তুতির কথা ঘোষণা দিয়েছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানায় মালয়েশিয়ার সংবাদমাধ্যম দ্য স্টার।
মালয়েশিয়ার মানবসম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয় জানিয়েছে, শ্রমিক নিয়োগে ইতোপূর্বে যে কারিগরি জটিলতা দেখা দিয়েছিল তা সমাধান করা হয়েছে।
খবরে বলা হয়, বাংলাদেশ থেকে শ্রমিক নিয়োগে নির্বাচিত ২৫টি সংস্থার মধ্য থেকে ১৫টির নিয়োগ সংক্রান্ত সব বিষয় যাচাই করা হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশন কর্তৃক বাংলাদেশের অবশিষ্ট ১০টি শ্রম সংস্থার যাচাইকরণ আগামী কয়েক সপ্তাহের মধ্যে সম্পন্ন হবে বলে আশা করছে দেশটি।
এক বিবৃতিতে দেশটির মানবসম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয় জানিয়েছে, আগ্রহী নিয়োগকর্তা, যারা শুল্ক পরিশোধ করেছেন এবং বাংলাদেশি কর্মী নিয়োগ করতে চাইছেন, তারা এখন কর্মসংস্থান এবং কাজের ভিসার ডকুমেন্টেশন নিশ্চিতকরণের জন্য বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশনে তাদের আবেদন পাঠাতে পারবেন।
তবে গ্রহণযোগ্য নিরাপত্তা এবং স্বাস্থ্য স্ক্রিনিং সাপেক্ষে বাংলাদেশি কর্মীদের প্রবেশ হবে বলে শর্ত দিয়েছে মালয়েশিয়া।
বিবৃতিতে আরও বলা হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে মালয়েশিয়ার অভিবাসন বিভাগের নির্ধারিত ন্যূনতম প্রয়োজনীয়তার সঙ্গে সম্মতি অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবে।
