আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে মূল্যবৃদ্ধির প্রভাব পড়েছে দেশের স্বর্ণ ও রুপার বাজারে। টানা দুই দফা কমার পর আবারও বড় ধরনের ঊর্ধ্বগতি দেখা দিয়েছে স্বর্ণের দামে। এক লাফে ভরিতে বেড়েছে ৩ হাজার ২৬৬ টাকা। ফলে প্রথমবারের মতো ভালো মানের স্বর্ণের দাম ভরিতে ২ লাখ ৫৮ হাজার টাকা অতিক্রম করেছে।
শনিবার সকালে এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বাংলাদেশ জুয়েলার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (বাজুস) নতুন এ মূল্য নির্ধারণের কথা জানায়। আজ সকাল ১০টা ১৫ মিনিট থেকে সারা দেশে নতুন দর কার্যকর হয়েছে।
বাজুসের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, মানভেদে স্বর্ণের নতুন দাম নিম্নরূপ—২২ ক্যারেট স্বর্ণ: প্রতি ভরি (১১.৬৬৪ গ্রাম) স্বর্ণের দাম নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ২ লাখ ৫৮ হাজার ৮২৪ টাকা।
বাজুস জানায়, স্থানীয় বাজারে তেজাবি বা খাঁটি (পিওর) স্বর্ণের দাম বৃদ্ধির কারণেই এই সমন্বয় করা হয়েছে। আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে অস্থিরতা এবং ডলারের দামের প্রভাবও এর পেছনে ভূমিকা রেখেছে বলে মনে করছেন সংশ্লিষ্টরা।
স্বর্ণের পাশাপাশি বেড়েছে রুপার দামও। প্রতি ভরিতে ৩৫০ টাকা বাড়িয়ে ২২ ক্যারেট রুপার নতুন দাম নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ৬ হাজার ৭০৭ টাকা। রুপার এই নতুন দরও আজ সকাল থেকেই কার্যকর হয়েছে।
সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যবসায়ীরা বলছেন, বিশ্ববাজারে অস্থিরতা ও স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে সরবরাহ সংকটের কারণে মূল্যবান এই ধাতু দুটির দাম আবারও ঊর্ধ্বমুখী। শীতের ভরা মৌসুমে বিয়ের কেনাকাটা চলায় এমন মূল্যবৃদ্ধি সাধারণ ক্রেতাদের ওপর বাড়তি চাপ সৃষ্টি করবে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে।
