ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পের পর তুরস্কের একটি শহরের ধ্বংসস্তূপ থেকে এক নারীকে তার দুই শিশু সন্তানসহ জীবিত উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। বিধ্বস্ত আন্তাকিয়া শহরের একটি ধ্বংসস্তূপ থেকে ভূমিকম্পের ২২৮ ঘণ্টা পর তাদের উদ্ধার করা হয়।
বার্তা সংস্থা আনাদোলুর বরাতে কাতারভিত্তিক সংবাদমাধ্যম আল-জাজিরা বৃহস্পতিবার এ খবর দিয়েছে। এলা নামের ওই নারী তাদের অ্যাপার্টমেন্ট ব্লকের ধ্বংসস্তূপে মেসাম ও আলী নামের দুই শিশুসন্তানসহ আটকা পড়েছিলেন।
এদিকে ৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি হওয়া ৭ দশমিক ৮ মাত্রার ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে তুরস্ক ও সিরিয়ায় মৃতের সংখ্যা ৪১ হাজার ছাড়িয়ে গেছে। তুরস্কেই নিহত হয়েছেন ৩৫ হাজার বেশি। সিরিয়ায় নিহত হয়েছেন ৫ হাজার ৮০০ জনের বেশি।
