২০২৩ সালের (আগামী বছর) এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি স্বাভাবিক সময়ে হতে পারে। যথাসময়ে শুরু হলে এসএসসি পরীক্ষা ফেব্রুয়ারিতে এবং এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা এপ্রিলে হবে। পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় উভয় পরীক্ষার এই রুটিন এক মাস করে পেছানো হতে পারে। সেক্ষেত্রে এসএসসি মার্চে এবং এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা মে মাসে হবে। এবারের মতো আর পেছানো হবে না।
ঢাকা মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান ও আন্তঃশিক্ষা বোর্ড সমন্বয় সাব-কমিটির সভাপতি তপন কুমার সরকার বৃহস্পতিবার এসব কথা বলেন। বেলা ১১টার দিকে রাজধানীর মতিঝিল আইডিয়াল স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজ কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শনের পর তিনি সাংবাদিকদের সাথে কথা বলেন।
তপন কুমার বলেন, পরীক্ষার্থীদের আগের মতোই প্রস্তুতি নিতে হবে। কোনো ধরনের শৈথিল্য করলে নিজেরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবেন। তিনি তাদের উদ্দেশ্য করে বলেন, আগামী বছর যারা এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থী তাদের হাতে সময় খুব কম। সবাইকে পড়াশোনায় অধিক মনোযোগী হতে হবে।
এদিকে বৃহস্পতিবার থেকে শুরু হয়েছে এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা। তপন কুমার সরকার বলেন, ২০২৩ সালে আগের সময়ের মতোই এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা হবে। এ সময় শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চশিক্ষা বিভাগের সচিব মো. আবু বকর ছিদ্দীক উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
তিনি সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, শুরু হওয়া এসএসসি পরীক্ষা নিয়ে কোনো সমস্যার কথা শোনা যায়নি। পরীক্ষা নির্বিঘ্নে হচ্ছে।
এ সময় মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চশিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক অধ্যাপক নেহাল আহমেদও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
