ভারতের উত্তর প্রদেশের হাপুর জেলার একটি রাসায়নিক কারখানায় বিস্ফোরণের পর অগ্নিকাণ্ডে অন্তত ৮ জনের প্রাণহানির ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
দেশটির সংবাদমাধ্যম এনডিটিভি জানায়, বিস্ফোরণের ঘটনায় কমপক্ষে ২০ জন আহত হয়েছেন বলে জানিয়েছেন পুলিশের এক স্থানীয় কর্মকর্তা।
উত্তর প্রদেশ পুলিশের মুখপাত্র সুরন্দ্রে সিং জানান, রাজধানী নয়াদিল্লি থেকে প্রায় ৬০ কিলোমিটার দূরে উত্তর প্রদেশের ধৌলানা এলাকার একটি শিল্প স্থাপনায় বয়লার বিস্ফোরণের পর আগুন ধরেছে। বর্তমানে সেখানে উদ্ধারকাজ চলছে।
এক টুইট বার্তায় উত্তর প্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যোগী আদিত্যনাথ বিস্ফোরণের ঘটনায় হতাহতদের পরিবারের সদস্যদের প্রতি শোক ও সমবেদনা জানিয়েছেন।
