একটি সিনেমা করতে বলিউডের প্রথম সারির তারকারা কত টাকা পারিশ্রমিক নেন? ৪০, ৫০ বা ৬০ কোটি? হ্যা, অংকটা এমনই। আবার যদি বড় বাজেদের কোনো ছবির জন্য কোনো তারকা ৮০, ৯০ বা ১০০ কোটি টাকাও পারিশ্রমিক পান, তাতেও অবাক হওয়ার কিছু নেই।
কিন্তু কেউ যদি একটি ওয়েব সিরিজে অভিনয়ের জন্য এমন বড় অংকের পারিশ্রমিক পেয়ে থাকেন, সেটা একটু অবাক হওয়ারই বিষয়। তেমনই অবাক করলেন ‘বলিউড খিলাড়ি’ অক্ষয় কুমার।
খুব শিগগির ‘দ্য এন্ড’ নামের একটি ওয়েব সিরিজের মাধ্যমে ওটিটি প্ল্যাটফর্মে অভিষেক করতে চলেছে এই অভিনেতার। সেই সিরিজে অভিনয়ের জন্য ৯০ কোটি টাকা পারিশ্রমিক পাচ্ছেন ইন্ডাস্ট্রির প্রথম সারির এই নায়ক।
২০১৯ সালে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছিল অ্যাকশন-থ্রিলার এই সিরিজটির। তবে মাঝে সব বন্ধ ছিল। অক্ষয়ের সৌজন্যে আবার খবরে এল সিরিজটি। এটি প্রযোজনা করবেন বিক্রম মালহোত্রা। এ বছরের শেষে অথবা ২০২২ সালের প্রথম দিকে শুরু হবে সিরিজটির কাজ।
তবে এর থেকেও বড় খবর এই ওয়েব সিরিজের জন্য ৯০ কোটি টাকা পারিশ্রমিক নিচ্ছেন অক্ষয় কুমার। ভারতীয় কোনো ওয়েব সিরিজের ক্ষেত্রে এখন পর্যন্ত কোনো অভিনেতাকে দেয়া সব থেকে বেশি পারিশ্রমিক এটি।
তবে এই খবরে সমালোচনা শুরু হয়েছে বক্স অফিসে। অনেকেই বলছেন, করোনা মহামারির এমন পরিস্থিতিতে ৯০ কোটি টাকা পারিশ্রমিক নেয়াটা উচিত নয়। অনেকে আবার বলছেন, করোনায় যত টাকা দান করেছেন বা রোগীদের জন্য খরচ করেছেন, তার ডবল তুলে নিলেন অক্ষয়। যদিও এসবের কোনো উত্তর দেননি খিলাড়ি।
