দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে আজ কালবৈশাখী ঝড় হতে পারে। সেই সঙ্গে বিক্ষিপ্তভাবে শিলাবৃষ্টিরও আভাস দিয়েছে আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তর।
শুক্রবার সকাল ৯টা পরবর্তী ২৪ ঘণ্টার পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, যশোর ও কুষ্টিয়া অঞ্চলসহ ঢাকা, ময়মনসিংহ, রংপুর, চট্টগ্রাম ও সিলেট বিভাগের দু-এক জায়গায় অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা/ঝড়ো হাওয়াসহ বৃষ্টি/বজ্রসহ বৃষ্টি হতে পারে।
সেই সঙ্গে কোথাও কোথাও বিক্ষিপ্তভাবে শিলা বৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এছাড়া দেশের অন্যত্র অস্থায়ীভাবে আংশিক মেঘলাসহ আকাশসহ আবহাওয়া প্রধানত শুষ্ক থাকতে পারে।
পূর্বাভাসে আরও বলা হয়েছে, রাজশাহী, পাবনা, মাদারীপুর, রাঙ্গামাটি, ফেনী ও মৌলভীবাজার অঞ্চলসহ খুলনা বিভাগের উপর দিয়ে মৃদু তাপপ্রবাহ বয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং তা কিছু কিছু এলাকায় প্রশমিত হতে পারে। সারাদেশে দিনের তাপমাত্রা সামান্য হ্রাস পেতে পারে এবং রাতের তাপমাত্রা প্রায় অপরিবর্তিত থাকতে পারে।
পশ্চিমা লঘুচাপের বর্ধিতাংশ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও তৎসংলগ্ন এলাকায় অবস্থান করছে। এর একটি বর্ধিতাংশ উত্তর বঙ্গোপসাগর পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত রয়েছে। মৌসুমের স্বাভাবিক লঘুচাপ দক্ষিণ বঙ্গোপসাগরে অবস্থান করছে।
গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার দেশে সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড হয়েছে যশোরে ৩৭ দশমিক ৬ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। ঢাকায় সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড হয়েছে ৩৫ দশমিক ৫ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। সিলেটে ১১ মিলিমিটার এবং শ্রীমঙ্গল ও নেত্রকোনায় সামান্য বৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
