দেশে কেউ অরাজকতা, জনগণের সম্পদ বা জানমালের ক্ষতি করার চেষ্টা করলে সরকার তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেবে বলে হুঁশিয়ারি দিয়েছেন আইনমন্ত্রী আনিসুল হক।
শনিবার দুপরে রাজধানীর কুর্মিটোলায় আর্মড ফোর্সেস মেডিকেল কলেজে করোনাভাইরাসের টিকার দ্বিতীয় ডোজ গ্রহণ শেষে সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নের উত্তরে মন্ত্রী এই কথা বলেন।
আইনমন্ত্রী বলেন, ‘হেফাজতকে প্রতিরোধ করার জন্য কার্যকর আইন আছে। কেউ যদি দেশে অরাজকতা, জনগণের সম্পদ বা জানমালের ক্ষতি করার চেষ্টা করেন, এই সরকার তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেবে।’
আনিসুল হক বলেন, ‘জনগণ তাদের সেবা করার দায়িত্ব পালনের জন্য শেখ হাসিনার সরকারকে ভোট দিয়েছে। সেখানে কেউ ব্যাঘাত ঘটানোর চেষ্টা করলে সরকার অবশ্যই আইনগতভাবে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেবে।’
টিকা নেয়ার প্রতিক্রিয়ায় আইনমন্ত্রী বলেন, ‘প্রথম এবং দ্বিতীয় ডোজের মধ্যে আমি কোনো পার্থক্য দেখিনি। আমি ধন্যবাদ জানাই যারা আমাকে ইনজেকশনটা দিয়েছেন। কারণ আমি কোনো ব্যথা বোধ করিনি। আগেও আপনাদের একথা বলেছি যে, ইনজেকশন নেয়ার ব্যাপারে আমার এলার্জি আছে। আমি খুব ভয় পাই। দু’বারই আমি অত্যন্ত স্বাচ্ছ্যন্দে এই ইনজেকশনটা নিতে পেরেছি। সেজন্য কর্তৃপক্ষকে আমি ধন্যবাদ জানাই।’
আনিসুল হক বলেন, ‘করোনাভাইরাস সারাবিশ্বে ভয়াবহভাবে বেড়ে যাচ্ছে। দ্বিতীয় ডোজ নিলে আমি মনে করি অন্ততপক্ষে আক্রান্তটা কমে যাবে। দ্বিতীয় ডোজ দেয়ার সক্ষমতা আমাদের রয়েছে। আমি সবাইকে অনুরোধ করবো দ্বিতীয় ডোজ নিয়ে নেয়ার জন্য।’
