দেশের সব প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকদের করোনার টিকা নেয়ার আহবান জানিয়েছেন প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা প্রতিমন্ত্রী মো. জাকির হোসেন।
মঙ্গলবার বাংলাদেশ সচিবালয় ক্লিনিকে করোনাভাইরাসের টিকা নেয়ার পর গণমাধ্যমকর্মীদের সঙ্গে আলাপকালে তিনি এ আহবান জানান।
প্রতিমন্ত্রী বলেন, করোনাভাইরাসের টিকায় কোনো পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া নেই। আমি শতভাগ সুস্থ আছি। টিকার প্রতি আতঙ্ক কেটে গেছে। সবাইকে টিকাকেন্দ্রে এসে টিকা নেয়ার জন্য অনুরোধ জানান তিনি।
তিনি বলেন, নিজে সুস্থ থাকুন, অন্যকে করোনাভাইরাস সংক্রমণ থেকে সুস্থ রাখুন।
প্রতিমন্ত্রী বলেন, পৃথিবীর অনেক দেশ এখনো করোনা ভ্যাকসিন নিতে পারেনি। এ পরিস্থিতিতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার কূটনৈতিক সাফল্য ও সেরা ব্যবস্থাপনায় বাংলাদেশ দ্রুততম সময়ের মধ্যে ভ্যাকসিন এনে জনগণকে রক্ষা করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। এজন্য প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে ধন্যবাদও জানান তিনি।
