মিয়ানমারের নতুন সরকার বাংলাদেশকে চিঠি দিয়েছে। চিঠিতে দেশটিতে সামরিক বাহিনীর ক্ষমতা দখলের কেন দরকার পড়লো বাংলাদেশকে তারা সেটির ব্যাখ্যা দিয়েছে।
পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এ কে আব্দুল মোমেন শনিবার সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, মিয়ানমার সরকার আমাদের রাষ্ট্রদূতকে একটি চিঠি দিয়েছে। সেখানে তারা বলেছে কী কারণে তারা ক্ষমতা দখল করেছে। তারা বলেছে, এক কোটির বেশি ভুয়া ভোট হয়েছে। এই ভুয়া ভোটের কারণে তাদের একটি দায়িত্ব চলে এসেছে।
এই নতুন সরকারের রাখাইনে রোহিঙ্গাদের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগের বিষয়ে জানতে চাইলে তিনি বলেন, আমাদের কাছে খবর এসেছে যে মিলিটারি কমান্ডাররা রাখাইনে অবস্থিত রোহিঙ্গাদের ক্যাম্পে গিয়েছিলেন ও তাদের সঙ্গে আলাপ করেছেন। রোহিঙ্গারা তাদের অভিযোগের কথা বলেছে যে তারা চলাফেরা করতে পারে না। আর্মি সরকার বলছে, আমরা তোমাদের অবস্থার পরিবর্তন করবো, ধাপে ধাপে অবস্থার পরিবর্তন করবো। এগুলো শুনে কুতুপালং ক্যাম্পে খুব উৎসাহ হচ্ছে। আর্মিরা তাদের অভয় দিচ্ছে বলে তারা খুবই খুশি
