আন্তর্জাতিক ডেস্ক : মালয়েশিয়ার এই ইসলামি সংস্থাটির নাম কন্সালটেটিভি কাউন্সিল ফর ইসলামিক অর্গানাইজেশন। সংস্থাটির সভাপতি মোহাম্মদ আজমি আবদুল হামিদ শুক্রবার (৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি) কাশ্মীরের সংহতি দিবস উপলক্ষে এক বার্তায় ভারত সরকারকে সেখানে গণহত্যা বন্ধ করতে আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন। এ খবর দিয়েছে তুরস্কের প্রভাবশালী গণমাধ্যম আনাদুল এজেন্সি।
মোহাম্মদ আজমি এদিন বলেছেন, আর্ন্তজাতিক সংম্প্রদায়কে কাশ্মীরের সংহতি দিবসে একাত্মতা প্রকাশ করতে হবে। সেখানে ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর গণহত্যা ও মানবাধিকার লঙ্ঘন বন্ধ করতে হবে।
মালয়েশিয়ার এ মুসলিম নেতা আরো বলেছেন, কাশ্মীরের কোথাও না কোথাও প্রতিদিনই ভারতীয় বাহিনী হামলা করছে। এটা স্পষ্ট মানবাধিকার ও আন্তর্জাতিক আইন লঙ্ঘন। ভারত সরকার ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে আন্তর্জাতিক আইন ও জাতিসংঘের বিধান ভঙ্গ করছে।
আবদুল হামিদ আরো বলেছেন, ১৯৪৪ সাল থেকে ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী বেসামরিক সাত লাখ মানুষ হত্যা করেছে। এটা গণহত্যা ও মানবাধিকার লঙ্ঘন।
ভারতশাসিত কাশ্মীরের জনগণের সঙ্গে একাত্মতা প্রকাশের মাধ্যমে পাকিস্তানিরা ১৯৯০ সাল থেকে প্রতিবছরের ৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি দিবসটি পালন করে আসছে। সেখান থেকে বিভিন্ন মুসলিম দেশও এই দিবস পালন করে আসছে।
