জাতীয় ডেস্ক : স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেক বারবার বলেছিলেন জানুয়ারিতেই দেশে করোনার ভ্যাকসিন আসবে। এবার সেটার দিনক্ষণ চূড়ান্ত হলো। দিনক্ষণ জানিয়েছেন স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের পরিচালক ডা. শামসুল হক।
দেশের জাতীয় একটি সংবাদমাধ্যমে ডা. শামসুল হক বলেন, আগামী ২৬ জানুয়ারির মধ্যে দেশে করোনার টিকা আসবে। রোববার (১০ জানুয়ারি) রাতে তিনি এ কথা বলেন।
শামসুল হক আরো বলেন, আজই জানানো হয়েছে ২০ থেকে ২৫ জানুয়ারির মধ্যে টিকা আসবে। সেটা হয়তো ২৬ তারিখে ফিক্সড হতে পারে মন্ত্রণালয় পর্যায় থেকে।
এর আগে জানানো হয়েছিল, ভারতের সেরাম ইন্সটিটিউট উৎপাদিত অক্সফোর্ড ও অ্যাস্ট্রাজেনেকার উদ্ভাবিত টিকা ‘কোভিশিল্ড’ দেশে আসবে দেশীয় প্রতিষ্ঠান বেক্সিমকো ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালসের মাধ্যমে।
প্রথম পর্যায়ে ৬০ লাখ ডোজ টিকা আসবে। এর মধ্যে ৫০ লাখ সরকারিভাবে এবং ১০ লাখ ডোজ বেক্সিমকোর নিজস্ব ব্যবস্থাপনায় প্রাইভেট মার্কেটিংয়ের জন্য।
টিকা আসার বিষয়টি নিয়ে আজ (১১ জানুয়ারি) দুপুরে সংবাদ সম্মেলন করবেন স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেক।
