পাঁচ ম্যাচের টি-টোয়েন্টি সিরিজ খেলতে আগামী ২৯ জুলাই ঢাকায় পা রাখবে ক্রিকেট অস্ট্রেলিয়া দল। এরপর তিন দিন কোয়ারেন্টিনে থেকে ৩ তারিখে মাঠে নামবে প্রথম ম্যাচ খেলতে। তার আগে ১ আগস্ট প্রথম দিনের অনুশীলনে নামবে অজিরা।
সিরিজের প্রত্যেকটি ম্যাচ মিরপুরের শের ই বাংলা স্টেডিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে সন্ধ্যা ৬টা থেকে। এমনটাই জানিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের (বিসিবি) ক্রিকেট অপারেশন্স আকরাম খান।
আজ সোমবার (২৬ জুলাই) আকরাম খান জানান, দুই বোর্ডের মধ্যে ম্যাচ শুরুর সময় নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়েছে। তবে দুই বোর্ডের আলোচনায় যেকোনো সময় সময়ের পরিবর্তন আসতেও পারে। এক্ষেত্রে ম্যাচ রেফারি চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে পারবেন।
আগামী ৩ আগস্ট প্রথম ম্যাচ খেলার পরদিনই (৪ আগস্ট) রয়েছে দ্বিতীয় ম্যাচ। একদিন বিরতি দিয়ে ৬ ও ৭ আগস্ট তৃতীয় ও চতুর্থ ম্যাচ। ৮ তারিখ বিরতি দিয়ে ৯ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে পঞ্চম ও শেষ ম্যাচ।
এর আগে ২০১৭ সালে সবশেষ বাংলাদেশ সফরে আসে অস্ট্রেলিয়া। সেবার ২ ম্যাচের টেস্ট সিরিজ ১-১ সমতায় শেষ হয়।
