বিরোধী দলের ছায়া মন্ত্রীসভা গঠনের সিদ্ধান্তকে স্বাগত জানায় বিএনপি— এমনটা জানিয়েছেন বিএনপির স্থায়ী কমিটির সদস্য সালাহউদ্দিন আহমদ।
সোমবার বিএনপির গুলশান কার্যালয়ের সামনে সাংবাদিকদের এ কথা জানিয়েছেন তিনি।
সালাহউদ্দিন আহমেদ বলেন, জাতীয় সংসদ সদস্য নির্বাচন ও রাষ্ট্রপতি নির্বাচনের ম্যান্ডেট আছে নির্বাচন কমিশনের। স্পিকার ও ডেপুটি স্পিকার না থাকায় সংসদ সদস্যদের শপথ পড়াতে পারেন প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার। সে হিসেবে আগামীকাল সংসদ সদস্যদের শপথ পড়াবেন সিইসি।
সংস্কার পরিষদের শপথ নিয়ে তিনি বলেন, বিদ্যমান সংবিধানে সংবিধান সংস্কার পরিষদের শপথ পড়ানোর এখতিয়ার নেই সিইসির। যদি সেটি সংবিধানে ধারণ করা হয়, সংবিধান সংশোধন হয় এবং কে শপথ পাঠ করাবে তা নির্ধারিত হলে সংবিধান সংস্কার পরিষদের শপথ হতে পারে বলেও মন্তব্য করেন তিনি।
দলের আরেক স্থায়ী কমিটির সদস্য আমীর খসরু মাহমুদ চৌধুরী বলেন, দেশের সব বিভাগেই চ্যালেন্জ রয়েছে। অর্থনীতি, শিক্ষা, চিকিৎসাসহ সব ব্যবস্থা ভেঙে গেছে।
মন্ত্রীদের মধ্যে কে কী হচ্ছেন সে বিষয়ে কিছু এখনো জানেন না বলেও জানান তিনি।
