এদিকে অস্ট্রেলিয়া ও শ্রীলঙ্কাকে হারিয়ে আগেই সুপার সিক্সে এক পা দিয়ে রেখেছিল বাংলাদেশ। এবার যুক্তরাষ্ট্রকে হারিয়ে গ্রুপ চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়ে সবার আগে পরের রাউন্ডে গেল লাল-সবুজের জার্সিধারীরা।
