পবিত্র হজ পালনের জন্য গতকাল রবিবার পর্যন্ত সৌদি আরব পৌঁছেছেন ২৩ হাজার ৯৬৪ জন হজযাত্রী। এর মধ্যে সরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনার হজযাত্রী তিন হাজার ৩৮৫ জন ও বেসরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনার ২০ হাজার ৫৭৯ জন।
রবিবার রাত ২টায় ধর্ম মন্ত্রণালয়ের হজ ব্যবস্থাপনা পোর্টালের বুলেটিনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
বুলেটিনে বলা হয়, ৫ জুন হজ ফ্লাইট শুরুর পর থেকে এ পর্যন্ত সৌদি আরব গেছে ৬৫টি। এর মধ্যে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের ৩৫টি, সৌদি এয়ারলাইন্সের ২৫টি এবং ফ্লাইনাস এয়ারলাইন্সের পাঁচটি ফ্লাইট।
হজ শেষে ফিরতি ফ্লাইট শুরু হবে ১৪ জুলাই শেষ হবে ৪ আগস্ট।
বাংলাদেশ থেকে এবার সরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় চার হাজার এবং বেসরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় ৫৩,৫৮৫ জন হজ করতে যাবেন। তাদের মধ্যে এ পর্যন্ত ৬৮ দশমিক ২৩ শতাংশ ভিসা ইস্যু করা হয়েছে।
সরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনার হজ ভিসা দেওয়া হয়েছে ৯৪ দশমিক ০৩ শতাংশ আর বেসরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনার হজযাত্রী ভিসা ইস্যু হয়েছে ৬৬ দশমিক ৩০ শতাংশ।
এদিকে সৌদি আরবে এখন পর্যন্ত চারজন হজযাত্রী মারা গেছেন যাদের মধ্যে একজন নারী রয়েছেন।
