সরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় চলতি মৌসুমে পবিত্র হজে যেতে ইচ্ছুক ব্যক্তিদের বর্ধিত নিবন্ধনের সময় শেষ হচ্ছে আজ। এ জন্য হজের কার্যক্রম সম্পৃক্ত ব্যাংকগুলো ছুটির দিনেও খোলা রাখা হয়েছে।
শুক্রবার রাতে এ সংক্রান্ত একটি নির্দেশনা জারি করেছে ধর্ম বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়। মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপ-সচিব আবুল কাশেম মুহাম্মদ শাহীন স্বাক্ষরিত ওই নির্দেশনায় বলা হয়, নির্ধারিত সময় অনুযায়ী শনিবার হজের নিবন্ধন শেষ হচ্ছে। প্রাক নিবন্ধনের ক্রমিক ২৯৪৬২ এর মধ্যে থাকা হজ যাত্রীদের এই সময়ের মধ্যে চূড়ান্ত নিবন্ধন করার কথা বলা হয়েছে। নিবন্ধন শেষে নির্ধারিত ব্যাংকে হজের টাকা জমা দিতে পারবেন।
এদিকে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী, শনিবার হজ কার্যক্রমে সম্পৃক্ত সব ব্যাংক খোলা থাকবে।
চাঁদ দেখা সাপেক্ষে আগামী ৮ জুলাই সৌদি আরবে পবিত্র হজ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এবার বাংলাদেশ থেকে ৫৭ হাজার ৫৮৫ জন হজ পালনের সুযোগ পাবেন। এরমধ্যে সরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় চার হাজার জন ও বেসরকারি ব্যবস্থাপনায় ৫৩ হাজার ৫৮৫ জন হজে যেতে পারবেন।
সরকারিভাবে হজে যেতে প্যাকেজ-১-এ পাঁচ লাখ ৮৬ হাজার ৩৪০ এবং প্যাকেজ-২-এ পাঁচ লাখ ২১ হাজার ১৫০ টাকা খরচ ধরা হয়েছে।
হজ শেষে ফিরতি ফ্লাইট আগামী ১৪ জুলাই শুরু হয়ে শেষ হবে ১৪ আগস্ট।
