প্রথম সন্তান তৈমুর আলি খানের জন্মের প্রায় পাঁচ বছর পর আবারও মা হতে চলেছেন বলিউড অভিনেত্রী কারিনা কাপুর খান। আগামী ১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারির মধ্যে পৃথিবীর আলো দেখতে চলেছে তার দ্বিতীয় সন্তান। চিকিৎসকদের বরাত দিয়ে এমন খবর জানিয়েছেন কারিনার বাবা অভিনেতা রণধীর কাপুর। আরও একবার দাদু হতে চলেছেন ভেবেই তিনি উচ্ছ্বসিত।
২০১২ সালে বলিউড সুপারস্টার সাইফ আলি খানকে বিয়ে করেন কারিনা কাপুর। কারিনার প্রথম হলেও সাইফের এটি দ্বিতীয় বিয়ে। অভিনেতার প্রথম স্ত্রী হলেন অভিনেত্রী অমৃতা সিং। যিনি বলিউডের এই সময়ের অন্যতম সেনসেশন সারা আলি খানের মা। সাইফ ও অমৃতার ডিভোর্স হয়েছে বহু আগে। যখন সারার বয়স ছিল মাত্র চার বছর।
যাহোক, সাইফ-কারিনার বিয়ের চার বছর পর ২০১৬ সালে জন্ম হয় এ দম্পতির প্রথম সন্তান তৈমুরের। এবার আসছে দ্বিতীয় সন্তান। তবে ছেলে নাকি মেয়ে হবে সে সম্পর্কে এখনো কিছু প্রকাশ করা হয়নি। দ্বিতীয় সন্তানের জন্ম উপলক্ষ্যে ইতোমধ্যে পুরনো বাড়ি ছেড়ে নতুন বাড়িতে উঠেছেন সাইফ-কারিনা। এই সময়ে স্ত্রীকে সময় দেবেন বলে কাজেও বিরতি দিয়েছেন বলিউড নবাব।
এদিকে পরিবারে নতুন সদস্যের আগমনের আয়োজন, অন্যদিকে সদ্যই পৃথিবী ছেড়ে চলে গেছেন কাপুর পরিবারের আরও এক সদস্য। মঙ্গলবার হৃদরোগে আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা যান কারিনা কাপুরের ছোট চাচা অভিনেতা রাজীব কাপুর। বড় ভাই রণধীর কাপুর ও ভাতিজা রণবীর কাপুর রাজীবের সৎকার করেন। মাত্র এক বছর আগেই ঋষি কাপুর ও রীতু নন্দাকে হারিয়েছে কাপুর পরিবার।
