চট্টগ্রাম টেস্টে হারের পর টাইগার একাদশে এসেছে কিছুটা পরিবর্তন। পেসার মুস্তাফিজুর রহমানের পরিবর্তে দলে ডাক পেয়েছেম আবু জায়েদ রাহী। এছাড়া ইনজুরিতে থাকা সাকিবের জায়গায় এসেছেন সৌম্য এবং ও সাদমানের স্থলাভিষিক্ত হয়েছেন মোহাম্মদ মিঠুন।
সাগরিকার মতো ঢাকার উইকেটও স্পিনসহায়ক হবে বলে মনে করছেন টাইগার সেনাপতি মুমিনুল হক। তাইতো স্পিননির্ভর বোলিং অ্যাটাক সাজানো হয়েছে এই ম্যাচেও।
তাইজুল-মিরাজ-নাঈমরা থাকবেন বোলিংয়ের আক্রমনভাগে। এই টেস্টেও মাত্র একজন পেসার নিয়ে মাঠে নেমেছে টাইগাররা। গেল কয়েকবছরে টেস্ট দলের নিয়মিত মুখ আবু জায়েদ রাহী থাকবেন পেস বোলিংয়ের নেতৃত্বে। এছাড়া সৌম্য সরকারকেও দেখা যেতে পারে হাত ঘুরাতে।
এই টেস্ট জিতলে সিরিজ ড্র হবে। আর হারলে কিংবা ড্র হলে দেশের মাটিতে সিরিজ হাতছাড়া হবে টাইগারদের।
